Message on either side of the engine the Twin Turbo Zs have one turbo on each side of the engine for the three cylinders on that side. SO i think your confused with an inline 6 Twin Turbos where they have two turbos bolted to one exhaust manifold. Now there are two different setups you can run her also one with a smaller turbo that feeds the engine till it reaches a certain rpm and then the bigger turbo kicks in also this helps prevent some turbo lag (the motor dosent have to spin the lager tubine on the big turbo till its in a higher horsepower part of the rpm. Then you have a setup where the two turbos are the same size and the first turbo is used for gears 1,3,5 and the second is used for gears 2,4,6.

Any way to mount a single turbo on your v6 Z you would either have to mount it under the car where you could link the two mainfolds together into one turbo or just mount a single turbo on one side of the car. Both options would be very expensive and complicated producing a car that would probably never run that well and not provide much in a horsepower increase.

So if you want a faster car, sell you NA and buy a TT, or if your stubborn you can do a TT engine swap that will give you plenty of headaches and leave your wallet empty. The easiest/cheapist way to get the TT preformance is to sell your car and look for one.

Also look into NOS systems, its only about 500-800$ and can give your NA 50-150 hp depending on the kit you choose.
